Fancy Alpaca Dryer Balls, Wet Felted and Decorative

PurelyAlpaca started from a picture. Brian and Paula Schieber first learned of alpacas in 1998 while looking through a magazine on a business flight, and after a couple of years of research they began their first alpaca farm on an island in the Pacific Northwest, near Seattle. That farm went on to raise multiple-award-winning alpacas.

Soon after starting the farm, Brian and Paula opened a small farm store for their many visitors, and the first PurelyAlpaca web store followed in 2002. They love seeking out new examples of what they call wearable art, made with alpaca fiber they describe as luxurious and naturally unique.

In 2016, PurelyAlpaca moved to Ramona, California, a small town in the mountains an hour outside San Diego with a Western feel, many horses and a growing number of alpaca farms. There, Brian, Paula and their staff keep adding new alpaca clothing and gifts alongside classic lines, and invite everyone to join them in promoting this wonderful fiber and animal.
