With steady support from their husbands, what started as survival turned into a shared purpose. Amanda's husband began making nutrient dense juices, and together they built Grounding Roots, a family run wellness company. Alongside it, the two friends started The Home Farm.

The Home Farm began at an urban home farm in Orlando, Florida, where the family behind it lives a zero waste, minimalist life and wild schools their kids. The family makes magnesium cosmetics and superfoods, which they say are handmade. They run The Home Farm as a social enterprise, with a mission to help their community live a healthier lifestyle and become their own health advocates.
