Hello Sunshine is an 8 oz grapefruit candle for anyone who wants a bright, citrus and floral scent at home. It is made with essential oils blended with soy wax and a cotton wick, and it is hand poured in Austin, Texas. Bright grapefruit opens the scent, floral geranium sits at the heart, and zesty lime rounds out the base.
Each 8 oz candle burns for approximately 30+ hours and is topped with a wildflower seed paper dust cover. Let the wax melt into an even pool across the whole surface on each burn, and burn for no more than 4 hours at a time.

Slow North was founded in 2015 by Michelle Simmons in Austin, Texas.
Michelle started making her own candles after the birth of her first son, when she could not find candles she trusted for her growing family.
What started as a side project in her backyard grew into a business.
Today Slow North is a woman-owned business with a retail shop in Austin, where the team also teaches candle-making workshops.
Its stated mission is to inspire a mindful, balanced and more intentional way of living.
