In Brooklyn, an artist and furniture maker grew tired of always changing into his "nice boots" at the end of a day's work. He went looking for a product that would keep his boots looking their finest.

Most products he found were loaded with petroleum by-products, and the ones that claimed to be all natural were so oily they over-saturated his boots after the second application. Over a year later, with the help of many eager boot wearing Brooklynite focus groups, the Brooklyn Boot Wax formula was perfected. From there, requests from friends led to a leather conditioner and a Butcher Block Wax made with cold-pressed grapeseed oil, beeswax and carnauba wax.

Today Armstrong's All Natural is still a small company.
