ABOUT THIS PRODUCT
100% wool flat weave rug or wall hanging Woven using traditional heritage craft methods by master Zapotec weavers. No electricity was used at any point during the production process. This special piece was created using all human power - from shearing the sheep, spinning their wool to into yarn, dyeing it in-house and weaving on traditional foot pedal looms PLEASE NOTE: Only 3'x5' rug is ready to ship in this design. All other sizes will be made to order. DETAILS Soft & durable 100% natural sheep's wool Dyed using plant based natural dyes. Double sided Region of Origin: The state of Oaxaca, Southern Mexico. Ships from Asheville, NC, woven in Mexico We always recommend using a rug pad to prevent slipping, add cushion, & increase the lifespan of your rug Handwoven in a flat weave construction, this rug is intended to be long-lasting, durable & suitable for high traffic areas * Please note that due to their handmade nature, pieces may have unique characteristics or small irregularities *Natural dye batches are individually created for each weaving, & may vary slightly from the photo example DIMENSIONS Overall Dimensions: 3'W x 5L Rug Thickness: Roughly 1/8" low pile We stock standard sizes of 2' x 3', 3' x 5', 4' x 6', 6 x 9', 8' x 10', 9' x 12' and 2.5' x 8' Runners MADE TO ORDER Made-to-order weaving will begin as soon as you place your order Production time is generally 9-12 weeks, with updates via email All rugs can be made-to-order & can be customized to your preference of size & colors Feel free to reach out for details or with any questions See a style you like, but need it in another size or color? Contact info@loomimports.com We also offer custom commissions of your own original art or design! CARE Indoor use only Any creases after unboxing should disappear in a week or two Rotate periodically to avoid fading from sunlight We recommend vacuuming regularly. Use a vacuum cleaner without a beater bar, or one where you can set the bar to the highest pile setting. If your vacuum has variable power settings, set on low. Depending on how heavily your rug is used, just once or twice a month is adequate. Too much vacuuming can wear down the fibers quicker. Every few months, you’ll also want to flip your rug over and vacuum the back to get the grit out of the foundation of the rug. It also helps to rotate your rug once a year to ensure even wear over time Contact a professional for tough stains Spot cleaning instructions: If the spill is organic & non-oily (ex: wine), use a paper towel or cloth to blot the liquid. Lightly dampen the paper towel/cloth with clean water. Add some clean water sparingly to the spot to dilute the stain and gently blot the affected area. If the stain is persistent, resist the urge to scrub. Scrubbing can damage the wool fibers & allow the stain to penetrate. Using a mild detergent, such as very diluted dishwashing soap, follow the same blot-and-rinse procedure. Repeat this process until the stain is removed SUSTAINABILITY These items showcase the skills of Artisans & craftspeople. They are meticulously handcrafted using traditional, labor-intensive techniques to ensure a unique product of exceptional quality.

Wasn’t sure what I’d get but wow. The items I received feel real and handmade, not factory. I ordered a candle, a small linen towel, and bath salts — all beautiful quality. I’m already planning another order for fall.
