Love for Nica sells high quality goods that the company says are 100% handcrafted in Nicaragua. Love for Nica's founder, Raygan J. Evans, calls Nicaraguans some of the most resilient and kindhearted people you'll ever encounter.
Love for Nica had been in the works for a few years, but after Raygan saw Nicaragua's economic crisis firsthand in January 2019, the idea could no longer wait. Today this social enterprise provides jobs for Nicaraguans and gives 50% of all profits back to Nicaragua.
Love for Nica also provides financial support to two nonprofits in Nicaragua: Tio Antonio's Foundation in Granada, which is dedicated to employing individuals with disabilities, and El CEN at the White Rock Massif Preserve, which works to conserve and restore natural and agricultural ecosystems in the mountains of Northern Nicaragua.
