Glimmer Goddess began with Shannon Reagan Henry's search for gentler skincare after years of struggling with sensitive skin, eczema and skin allergies. Inspired by the homemade skincare remedies her mother made, Shannon came to love thoughtful, ingredient-conscious formulas that feel personal and rooted in care.

In 2015, Shannon and Chris Henry founded Glimmer Goddess in Frisco, Texas, drawing on Shannon's experience in consumer products and product development. Today the woman-owned, family-owned company says it handcrafts vegan, cruelty-free skincare in small batches in Texas with certified organic ingredients.

Its mission, it says, is to make clean beauty feel luxurious, effective, transparent and approachable, without synthetic fragrance oils, parabens, sulfates or animal testing. Shannon leads Glimmer Goddess as CEO, and Chris serves as COO.
