BrunnaCo says every collection is handcrafted by talented artisans in Indonesia, especially Bali. These craftspeople, mostly women, work from the comfort of their homes while playing an important role as mothers.
BrunnaCo was founded by Helga Ida Ayu, who calls Bali her home island and now lives in California. In Indonesia, many women give up their jobs and careers after they marry to care for their families. BrunnaCo is committed to making it possible for its female artisans to work from home and pursue their dreams, and hopes to help them feel accomplished.
BrunnaCo says its aim has always been to create meaningful pieces from locally harvested plant based, recycled and vegan materials, and through its work to share the stories of its artisans and the beauty of Indonesia's land and culture.
